Ouneva Group continues collaboration with biathlete Suvi Minkkinen

We are happy to continue working with Suvi Minkkinen. The partnership we began last season brought us many exciting moments, especially when the season culminated in a bronze medal at the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide.
Suvi is a truly positive, grounded and hardworking athlete. We share similar values with Suvi and boldly move forward on our own paths, learning from every challenge. We believe Suvi is a brilliant example for young athletes of how to pursue goals with determination.
We met Suvi before the start of the 2025–2026 season. She had just returned to Finland from a long high-altitude training camp in Central Europe and told us she was full of energy. Suvi shared that her summer went well and training progressed as planned. She is heading into the new competition season with confidence.
Next comes the transition to snow, which even for athletes at Suvi’s level requires a bit of patience and adjustment. Roller skiing is very different from skiing on snow. Despite the transition weeks ahead, Suvi is excited to start competing again soon.

Although biathlon is an individual sport, success requires strong teamwork. Suvi says her recipe for the season is to be in the best possible shape while everyone behind the scenes gives their all to support great results. Skis are serviced, the athlete is looked after, meals are prepared to suit a professional athlete and the task list is long. The support team plays a huge role in achieving results and success is built together.
This season is especially important for Suvi and her team because of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. Suvi says she is looking forward to February with curiosity and is not feeling pressure just yet. That might change as the Games get closer but for now, we shared a laugh about the nerves that may come. Suvi feels it is a great place to be: to realistically dream of an Olympic medal. Reaching this point is the result of long-term work.
Suvi is genuinely happy that our collaboration continues. She values our approach to long-term partnerships and highlights how knowing your partners well increases the value of the collaboration. We feel the same and are truly delighted to be part of Suvi’s journey again this season.
We wish Suvi the very best for the important season ahead. The season begins in mid-November at the Kontiolahti GP races.
