A solar power system for Electro-Hill
A 131 kW solar power system is being built at the Electro-Hill factory located in Rakvere. It will reduce emissions caused by electricity consumption in production, lower costs, and enhance the reliability of electricity supply.
The factory roof will be fitted with 285 solar panels with a capacity of 460 watts each, which will be connected to a 255 kWh battery storage system. An artificial intelligence application will be utilised to control the solar power system, optimising electricity usage, storage, and its sale to the grid.
The solar power system will be supplied and installed by Naps Solar Estonia OÜ and it is intended to be commissioned by the end of June. A nearly identical system is also in use at the Eswire factory in Vergi.
