Ouneva improves its EcoVadis score

The EcoVadis assessment score of the Ouneva branch of Ouneva Group (Alsiva, Ase Utra, Ouneva, Top Speed and Valukumpu) improved in the annual evaluation. In the assessment completed in August 2026, Ouneva Group achieved an overall score of 73/100 points (2025: 67/100), which once again resulted in a bronze rating despite the significant improvement in score. A Bronze rating means that we rank among the top 35% of all companies assessed during the past 12 months. 

EcoVadis evaluates Ouneva Group in four areas: environmental responsibility, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Compared with the previous year, scores improved across all categories. The largest improvement, seven points in total, was achieved in thelabour and human rights category, which together with environmental responsibility remains one of our key strengths. 

“The assessment report provided us with clear development areas for the future. We have opportunities to improve, for example, our ethical risk assessments and certain practices related to sustainable procurement,” says Sini Hakala, Sustainability Manager at Ouneva Group. 

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted sustainability ratings provider, assessing companies against 21 sustainability criteria. The assessment methodology is based on internationally recognised sustainability standards, including the United Nations Global Compact, theGlobal Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, and ISO 26000.
